A few years ago Michael Jackson headlined a fundraising event at the Exeter City Football Club, to the amazement of thousands of fans of the Devon club.
Before the pop star achieved fame in his own right, the clan shot to fame as The Jackson 5 in the 1970s with hits such as ABC and I Want You Back.

Tito Jackson's friend Matt Fiddes, a celebrity bodyguard who lives in the area, said the actor put in offers on two properties.
"Tito has been staying with me in north Devon, and he and his family love the area. He likes it because it is so laid back after the hassle of California."
Mr Fiddes, who has known the Jacksons for about 11 years since being introduced by spoon bender Uri Geller, said his friend came to north Devon with the "mission" of finding a "getaway" home.
"It's definitely going to happen," Mr Fiddes said.
"Tito spoke with Michael on the phone the other night and all the family are certain that this is the area where they want to find a UK family hideaway."
He added: "The family is very close, so I do not see why we should not see them in north Devon in the future."

Michael`s older brother Tito spent the weekend looking at various homes in the region to use as a Jackson family UK base. He arrived in Barnstaple on Wednesday with the intention of taking a tour of homes and properties with long-time friend, martial arts empire owner and celebrity bodyguard Matt Fiddes. Tito spent time browsing the North Devon Gazette's Homes and Property supplement, before contacting estate agents and arranging several viewings in villages on the outskirts of Barnstaple.
On Monday, friend Matt confirmed that Tito had placed offers on two properties, although he wanted to keep their exact locations under wraps to protect the star's privacy.
"I'm over-the-moon that he is looking for a home near me in North Devon and that the Jacksons will be heading this way a lot more often.
It's definitely going to happen.
Tito spoke with Michael on the phone the other night and all the family are certain that this is the area where they want to find a UK family hideaway.
Tito is staying with me until the weekend but if everything goes through OK, he will soon be able to use the home as a base from which to develop his career in the UK."
Tito - a judge on the successful BBC One television show 'Just The Two Of Us' - believes he can achieve more in the UK than in America:
"I've got some good things going in the UK with TV work and book offers, you guys love the Jacksons' music and I have great mates like David Gest and Matt who live here.

On Friday night, Tito caused a flurry of excitement at Barnstaple nightspot Glitterball. As DJs pumped out a number of Jackson Five favourites, the star -surrounded by several bodyguards and accompanied by girlfriend American actress and model Claudia Lynx - happily signed autographs and posed for photographs with fans from a special roped-off VIP area in the club. He also took time out to pay a return trip to the North Devon Hospice, in Newport, also met poorly children at the Children's Hospice South West, at Fremington, and even stopped by the Christchurch pre-school in Barnstaple to chat with excited children and staff. On Saturday morning, he went shopping in Barnstaple town centre in search of a brand new trademark bowler hat.
"He looked around the High Street and Green Lanes but got mobbed everywhere so had to give up in the end," said Matt.

A teenage Michael Jackson fan is organising a party to welcome the pop superstar's family to their new UK home and members of the musical clan are expected to attend.
Michael's older brother Tito, 54, said they would be thrilled to attend the party.
He said: "I can confirm that myself and some other Jackson family members will be in attendance at this event. We are all very much looking forward to spending time in North Devon. I can't wait to come back to Barnstaple."
The singer spoke as George Warren, 18, booked a ballroom at the Durrant House Hotel, Northam, to host the charity fund-raiser.
A second-year media student at North Devon College, he admitted that the party was the biggest thing he had ever tried to organise.
Tickets are available from www.mjjparty.com and are priced between £10 and £20.
Warren said: "We will be holding a raffle of Jackson's records and memorabilia on the night and any profits from the event will go to the North Devon Hospice."
The Jacksons are expected to arrive in Appledore and begin weeks of filming for a Channel 4 TV special on May 18, with the party set for June 8.

It has been all over the papers and all over the news, the Jacksons have finally made their break to Devon!
The Jackson family arrived at Heathrow mid-afternoon today, the 21st of May
Members of the Jackson family which are confirmed of being here are as follows;
Tito, Claudia, Jackie, Siggy, Trent, Katherine and Taj.
We have been told Jermaine is travelling seperate to the rest of the family. There have also been reports that Joe Jackson is accompanying Katherine but this is not true.
Members of the Jackson family which have been mentioned above are sheduled to be arriving in Devon at around 10pm.

All members of the Jackson family that were mentioned above arrived safely at there home shortly after 10pm GMT. Members of the Jackson family (Claudia, Tito, Katherine, Siggy and Taj) came out to welcome the awaiting fans and signed a few items aswell as autographs.
Channel 4 have also been at the house since the Jacksons arrival in Devon and are presumably filming parts of the documentary which the Jacksons have reportedly signed up for.
I just want to re-itterate, Jermaine is NOT currently with the Jacksons.

My dad live in Bristol and was in KFC and JERMAINE, TITO and KATHERINE WALKED RIGHT INTO KFC!!! They were also with a girl (singer) who Jermaine said 'was going to be big'.
My dad is a singer and sang them Amazing Grace, and Katherine said that he had a soulful voice (which he does) and Jermaine said that he has a very powerful voice.
THIS IS BREAKING NEWS: THEY HAD A CAMERA MAN WITH THEM and he RECORDED my dad singing in KFC!!! They asked my dad to sign a confirmation form so that they could use the footage for a documentary (Channel 4 documentary!) Apparently Tito was smiling alot when my dad was singing and Jermaine took my dads number and said he's gonna call him!!!
This happened 20 minutes ago! So The Jacksons are in Bristol right now and my FATHER has just met those 3... I'm SOOOOO JEALOUS!

Thanks to fans, I was able to ask my dad more questions cos I had to get off the phone very quickly last night. I've just called him and I can confirm that it was JACKIE not Jermaine.
Sorry everyone, my dad got a bit confused and they do look kinda similar. But I just called him and looked at the picture and I described what 'Jermaine' (Jackie) was wearing and he said 'Yeah thats it'. Then I said, no that Jackie dad lol! So it was JACKIE not JERMAINE. But the other brother was definitely Tito, as my dad said that he was wearing a 'bowl type' hat, which is round at the top, which we all know Tito always wears.
He said they were wonderful, absolutely wonderful people and Katherine didn't really speak much as if to say 'My sons know what they're doing', up until my dad started to sing. That's when she started talking alot more, she told him he has a 'powerful and soulful voice'.
My dad didn't know who they were at first! he just saw the bodyguards and the cameraman and just started talking to them. He said "What are all you beautiful people doing HERE in Bristol!" (there was a tanned girl with them who I dont know who it is) he said "What are you actors? Doing a documentary? Filming a film?" and the girl said "All of the above!"
Thats when the KFC staff told my dad quietly "Thats the Jacksons!" and my dad was like 'aah, I shoulda known'.
Also, they had around 15 bodyguards around them, they ate IN KFC and my dad said they were so warm saying 'come and talk, come and sit' etc... but my dad didn't sit and eat with them, he didn't want to hassle them. He said nice to meet you and they all said it back. They said they'd call him and he left it at that.
Again I'm soooo sorry about the Jermaine/Jackie mix up... I still can't believe my DAD met the Jacksons... :|!
