Jestem tu nowa, ale mam nadzieję,że zostanę przez Was przyjęta:) Wraz z grupą przyjaciół z całego świata chcemy stworzyć video i przesłać je do MTV,VH1, rodziny Jackson i stacji telewizyjnych w Stanach i w Kanadzie. Pomysłodawczyniami tego projektu są moje dwie koleżanki. Melanie z Nowego Yorku (dziennikarka, pracownik NBC Universal) oraz Tina z Kanady.
Może będzie łatwiej jeśli tutaj wkleję tekst listu:
"Michael Jackson Fans NOW is your time to Represent for MJ- The King of POP! How would you like to be in music video to show the world and MTV- your love for Michael Jackson?
Here ‘s how it works:
We want fans from around the world to participate in this video event. The video will be a global plea to urge MTV to Reinstate the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. The video will be sent to the corporate management of MTV, VH1, the Jackson family and assorted media outlets. We will also put the video on YouTUBE, MYspace ,Facebook,Michael Jackson.com, and all the MJ fan groups.
How you can be featured in the video:
Take a picture of you , your family and your friends- holding signs - in support of the important campaign to demand respect for the musical and video history of Michael Jackson. You decide what the message on your signs should read for example:
“MTV RESPECT MJ” “Poland Loves the King of POP” Poland asks MTV to Reinstate MIchael’s award.
The point is, fans, we want you to be creative and let MTV know how you feel.
Take your pictures, in a location that best shows off your country.
For example, Michael Jackson fans of Paris - take your pictures at the Eiffel TowerMichael Jackson Fans of Brooklyn take you picture at the Subway stop featured at the “BAD” video
You guys get the point. We want a world wide showing of love and affection for Michael Jackson.
As the world , is well aware Michael Jackson put the M in MTV. He revolutionized Music Television for ever. MTV needs to give him the RESPECT and HONOR he deserves and earned.
The Video Vanguard Award, also known as the Michael Jackson Music Video Award or the Lifetime Achievement Award, is given to musicians who have made a profound effect on the MTV culture.
NO other Artist has had such an impact on the world, culture and MTV, than the King of POP, Michael Jackson.
It was Michael Jackson who changed the music video from a mere promotional tool featuring musicians playing instruments and singing, to a piece of art with a storyline, or as Michael liked to put as 'short films'.
His video Thriller influenced and changed music videos into what it is like today.
It was Michael Jackson , who broke down MTV's color barrier and revolutionized Music Television
Attention MUST be paid to the Legacy of Michael Jackson!
For some reason, MTV made a decision to remove Michael Jackson's name from this award. This was when,Michael was fighting for his life,in a court of law. He was later, acquitted and the accusations against him were proven FALSE.
It is time for MTV to honor the commitment,they made to Michael Jackson, his children, his family and his fans.
We can not name, one artist that has changed the world of Music Television, more than Michael Jackson
It is time for MTV to "do the right thing" and honor "the King of POP"
